Our week long trip to finding 5 new villages was cut short, due to an emergency evacuation to the nearest hospital (1 day away). A elderly lady, Mama Mgonjwa, was coming close to death from an infected wound on her foot and without medical attention, she would surely die.
By the time we got home, I was tired, sick and looking forward to resting. After two days, we decided to set back out, only this time we weren't going by truck. Little did we know what was in store for us.
